July, 2010 - Vector provides Project Management support to CG-47
VectorCSP continues to expand its support of strategic Coast Guard program's through recent additional tasking to provide Project Management support to CG-47. Vector is working with its small HUBZone partner JPI to provide day-to-day Environmental Management Office CFO Environmental Liability Compliance project management support.
June, 2010 - AMM/FTO Support for Gulf Coast Oil Spill
As our Asset Material Managers and Field Terminal Operators provide 24 hour support for the Coast Guard, several of our employee's have been called up to active duty to utilize their skills and knowledge in the gulf spill region.
PO Jeanne Laxton (AMM Sector Port Angeles) and PO Kevin Saak (AMM/FTO Sector Upper Mississippi Valley) have been sent to the gulf region to provide Oil Spill Response support. They have been activated for up to 60 days. Their work is being assumed by the FTO and other sectors AMM/FTO's. Part of VectorCSP's customer value is our ability to remain flexible and solve problems as they arise.
April, 2010 - Vector Guides ALC in Hosting 2010 Aviation C4ISR Symposium
VectorCSP personnel arranged the facility accommodations for over 100 Coast Guard staff for the 2010 Aviation C4ISR Symposium held at Kings Mill in Williamsburg, VA. Additionally, the Vector team developed an agenda and coordinated with over 30 different presenters (both CG industry partners and CDRs and CAPTs) that presented during the symposium.
April, 2010 - PMP Certification for Management and Key Employees
As a part of the company's ongoing quality improvement initiative, in May 2010 VectorCSP is launching a program to implement Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques and best practices within its management and consulting workforce. This will include adopting EVM practices for both client project management and internal administrative projects.
As a part of this initiative, VectorCSP is assisting managers and key employees in obtaining their Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications. The company anticipates that this new capability will be important to future growth as more and more government clients look to PMP-certified EVM specialists to support development of their mission-critical programs.
April, 2010 - Vector awarded District Level Business Partner of the Year by Elizabeth City Pasquotank Public Schools
In recognition of VectorCSP's support and donation of supplies and equipment to local classroom teachers and students, the Elizabeth City Pasquotank Public Schools awarded Vector as their District Level Business Partner of the Year. Vector also received individual Business Partner of the Year recognition from Northside Elementary, Sheep Harney Elementary and Elizabeth City Middle School.
April, 2010 - VectorCSP H-65 Team Recognized by Senior CG Leadership
VectorCSP's H-65 Project Team has been formally recognized by the Coast Guard Acquisition Office (CG-9) for its outstanding performance and dedicated support. The team contributed significantly in the accomplishments of the buildup of seven National Capital Region Air Defense (NCRAD) aircraft, continued production of Airborne Use of Force (AUF)-Phase II, organization of the Aircraft Ship Integrated Secure and Traverse (ASIST) Preliminary Design Review (PDR) and Critical Design Review (CDR), development of the MH-65D prototype, and validation DT&E and Production Readiness Reviews for Discreet Segment 4 upgrades.
February, 2010 - VectorCSP opens its new Baltimore office
VectorCSP has expanded the reach of its services by opening an office in the Curtis Office Park in Baltimore, MD. The office provides Vector project teams with ready access to nearby clients, including the Coast Guard's Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) and Asset Project Office (APO). Featuring an executive conference room and web-enabled training facility, the new office offers comfort and functionality for both VectorCSP employees and client personnel.
February, 2010 - VectorCSP conducts Job Task Analysis using its ThinkTank solution
As part of an effort to investigate and document job task data related to Engineering Officers (EOs) and Engineering Petty Officers (EPOs) role in modernized mission support, VectorCSP designed, developed, and facilitated a major data-gathering exercise using its ThinkTank solution.
The ThinkTank facilitation tool enables the rapid capture, prioritization, and reporting of massive amounts of data from multiple parties in an attribution-free setting. The data collected during the session is currently being analyzed to determine how best to conduct the EO/EPO knowledge transfer that must happen across the Coast Guard enterprise.
January, 2010 - VectorCSP secures expanded H-65 support role
Capitalizing on its outstanding support of the H-65 logistics support program at the Coast Guard's Aviation Logistics Center (ALC), VectorCSP won a new, expanded contract. The new contract ensures that the H-65 will continue as an effective mission support platform in the Coast Guard's fleet, and includes the following support:
- Program management
- Performance-based logistics
- Engineering development
- Avionics
- Technical Writing
January, 2010 - VectorCSP donates free paper to local teachers
Each year vectorCSP strives to give something back to the community in which we do business. For the past three years, we have worked with the Elizabeth City Pasquotank County School District to purchase and provide necessary items that the teachers need for their classrooms, but might not receive without donor assistance.
The needs are always great and the requests are many. This year the most requested item was copy paper. The majority of the 485 teachers indicated they never have enough paper to get through the school year, and often times must purchase additional quantities with their own money.

For the third straight year, VectorCSP has made it onto the prestigious INC. 5000 list of the fastest growing privately owned companies in America. With a ranking this year of number 1335, and with a significant recent increase in contract awards, VectorCSP is already working on next year's aggressive growth milestones.

November, 2009 - VectorCSP Supports the USCG in Transitioning Field Units
In support of the USCG Modernization, VectorCSP has completed pre-transition site surveys and on-site parts inventories at 16 USCG Sectors and Groups and the National Motor Life Boat School. Additionally, VectorCSP Transition Liaisons have provided on-site guidance in supply and bi-level maintenance practices. More than a third of these field organizations have now been transitioned as part of the ongoing Logistics Modernization effort.
September, 2009 - VectorCSP has hired a new CFO
VectorCSP has hired Frank Holman as its Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Holman was formerly the Vice President of Business Operations for Cox communications. He holds a Masters Degree in Business from the College of William and Mary, and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is also a professor of accounting at both Strayer University and Old Dominion University. VectorCSP is very excited to add Frank Holman to its executive staff, and looks forward to a long relationship with him.
August, 2009 - VectorCSP is sponsoring Coast Guard Night at the Edenton Steamers game
VectorCSP is sponsoring Coast Guard Night at Historic Hicks Baseball Field in Edenton, NC on August 1st. The game will be between the Edenton Steamers and the Outer Banks Daredevils. VectorCSP purchased and will distribute 1,200 tickets to Coast Guard personnel as a show of gratitude for the tremendous service and support they provide our nation.
June, 2009 - VectorCSP is moving its Elizabeth City offices!
VectorCSP's continuing growth has provided it with an opportunity to consolidate its North Carolina offices. Its South Water Street office, and its Halstead Boulevard offices will be joined into one location, at 405 E. Main Street, 2nd Floor, Elizabeth City, NC 27909.?? This move will allow all of VectorCSP's headquarter-based employees to work under one roof, increasing their efficiency and their ability to collaborate with one another. It will also provide VectorCSP with increased conference room space for internal functions, training events, hosted meetings, and executive sessions. VectorCSP will increase the efficiency of its IT infrastructure and expand its capacity to offer a comfortable work environment for the many employees and consultants who come to Elizabeth City for brief periods, but are based in other cities throughout the nation.

January, 2009 - VectorCSP Wins FSA OBF Contract
VectorCSP has won a contract to provide organizational and cultural transformation support to the FSA's Office of Budget and Finance(OBF). This effort includes the definition and modeling of the to-be OBF organization, processes, resource needs, and standards.
January, 2009 - VectorCSP Wins 3 USCG Modernization Contracts
In support of the ongoing USCG Modernization, VectorCSP has won 3 separate contracts spanning the Modernization effort.
The first of the 3 contracts is ongoing USCG Sector Asset Material Management and Field Terminal Operator support. The second contract is for ongoing comprehensive integrated logistics support at the Asset Project Office (APO) in Baltimore, MD. The third contract is for transformation support for USCG Logistics Centers and Service Centers which support field unit logistics operations.
September, 2008 - VectorCSP Performs 30 Day Standardization Effort for FSA
VectorCSP Performs a 30 Day Effort to Revise and Standardize All OBF Senior Executive-Level Perfomance Standards.
In an effort to standardize Senior Executive-level performance standards within the Office of Budget & Finance (OBF), the Farm Service Agency (FSA) contracted with VectorCSP to perform an analysis of existing metrics to determine best-value measurement data. VectorCSP revised and standardized all OBF Senior Executive-level performance standards in a 30 day effort.
August, 2008 - VectorCSP Wins AMM/FTO Support contract for USCG
VectorCSP wins contract to provide Asset Material Management (AMM) and Field Terminal Operator (FTO) support at USCG Group Humboldt Bay, California.
This support facilitates the Coast Guard's logistics modernization efforts by standardizing logistics processes and data entry across the enterprise.
May, 2008 - VectorCSP Receives Multiple Awards from Pasquotank Public Schools
In May 2008, the school district in Pasquotank County recognized VectorCSP with multiple awards for its support of public education.
The Pasquotank County School District named VectorCSP as District-Level Business Partner of the Year and School-Level Business Partner of the Year for Central Elementary School, Northeast High School, and River Road Middle School.
