VectorCSP is continuing to support a broad range of U.S. Forest Service HC-130H program needs, and was awarded two new task orders earlier this summer to provide program management, product line integrated logistics support, and documentation support.
This month one of the U.S. Coast Guard HC-130H aircraft that is being transferred to the U.S. Forest Service arrived at the Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) in Elizabeth City, NC following depot work and a new U.S. Forest Service paint job completed at the U.S. Air Force Warner Robins ALC. After a short period in Elizabeth City for mission preparation, the aircraft will ferry to the U.S. Forest Service Air Station in McClellan Air Park, CA from where it will operate as an air tanker for wildland fire management operations using a roll-on Modular Airborne Fire Fighting System II (MAFFS II) until a permanent retardant delivery system is installed.
