VectorCSP recently won a contract to provide program management and acquisition support services to the U.S. Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The center’s mission is to ensure safe, secure, and reliable nuclear weapon systems to support the National Command Structure and the United States Air Force warfighter.
The responsibilities of the NWC include acquisition, modernization and sustainment of nuclear system programs for both the Departments of Defense and Energy.
The new contract will support major weapon system acquisition programs replacing aging Air Launched Cruise Missile assets to enhance surety, safety, reliability and effectiveness of the Air Force’s Global Strike mission. Team Vector will provide expert program management, technical analysis, and scheduling support.
